The Beeches Residents Association runs an Equipment Loan Scheme, accessible to all members of the Association who agree to enter the Scheme. The rules of the Scheme run as below.
Items may be borrowed for one week, or over the weekend.
The borrower must comply with Health and Safety regulations and operating instructions for item borrowed.
Donations to the Equipment Fund will be £3 for the weekend loan and £5 for the whole week loan payable in cash.
A refundable deposit (cheque) must be left with the Equipment Officer.
The borrower must sign to accept responsibility for any damage to the loaned item.
The borrower must sign to say the equipment is borrowed and used at their own risk, and on their own insurance.
All borrowers must be members of the BRA and on the Uppingham Electoral Register.
All equipment is loaned for personal and non-commercial use.
The BRA will have the final say in the event of any dispute. Suggestions for new items of equipment should be sent to Ron Simpson. To borrow equipment, telephone 01572 823465 to discuss with Ron Simpson.
